Two words: You're good.
The suspense starts at the beginning, all through the story and till the storm recedes. I was totally scared for their lives, especially for Julia who insisted on refusing to listen to reason.
This is a beautiful story, the way your words flow it's easy to believe we're seeing it happen instead of reading it.
