Tosin has been working in a real estate firm for the past four years now. And there is a vacancy for promotion for people at her level. Whoever meets the highest target for the month gets the promotion.
Tosin had been working day and night, putting up strategy upon strategy, making it necessary to get more clients, and how to present her speech. If she can get Dr. Francis to acquire acres of land from her and if Mr Obi gets the other plot, she is very sure of getting the promotion.
But now it seemed someone was going behind her to sabotage her efforts and she didn't know why this person was doing this, cause her colleague couldn't know her move and plans, except an inside told him. But who is the inside is just her, her two younger sisters, her cousins, and her father's sister.
Who is trying to spoil things for her? She lay awake throughout that day, thinking of the possibility of it being an outside. The next day, she decided to share her worries with her best friend after work.
Tosin, what were you talking about on the phone, Michelle asked
Someone went to my back to spoil my name to Dr. Francis, and I don't know how Moses got hold of my quotation and everything I have arranged as a speech to deliver to Dr. Francis. Now he has my client and I can't do anything., Tosin said amidst tears.
Wait, Moses had your quotation, where did you drop it, Michelle asked confused
That's the problem, everything is on my laptop, I have not printed it out and it was sent to him from my laptop, Tosin replied

They both fell silent for a while, each person on their thought as to who was the culprit. After a while, Michelle came up with an idea.
Why don't we install a camera on your laptop to see who operates it every time you are sleeping? Michelle says, looking at Tosin.
Anybody will; what if it's not the person? I am thinking of downloading some software and locking where my important documents are kept, and only I will have the password; that way, this rubbish won't repeat itself Tosin said, drawing the curtain there.
But you still need to catch whoever the thief is, what if the person does something worse to you in the Future Michelle insisted
Fine, I will install the camera. It is still my family people that will use it cause I am not planning to take it to the office again; I just don't want to assume that my cousin might be the one; I have to leave now, Tosin said, calling it a day.
When Tosin arrived home, she met her cousin and two younger sisters at home; they noticed her mood and followed her to the bedroom.
Sis, what's the problem her youngest sister Talia asked.
It's still what I have been complaining about that someone has been sending my work to my colleague and now I have lost a big client, Tosin said.
Are you sure it is not your co-workers? Her immediate younger sister, Prisca, asks.
I don't know at this point, but God will pay the person back for me tosin said

At night while they were sleeping, someone's phone kept ringing and Tosin woke up from her sleep because of the noise and pick the call, the person on the other side was yelling and asking the owner of the phone, while she hadn't sent tosin speech for Mr. Obi to him, sleep immediately clear from Tosin eyes that was her colleague voice, Moses, she glances at the phone, it was the person who consoles her the most phone, no other person than her sister Prisca.
She yanked her up from her sleep and asked her to explain; she froze on seeing her phone in her sister's hands. The entire family woke up from the noise; after she explained her reason, it was out of jealousy because the entire family loved her more than her. So if it was this butt call, you would have destroyed my career. She apologized, but the damage had been done.
Tosin later got the promotion after Moses was exposed.

Very painful, betrayal from relative hit different
This story is painful to read. Betrayal from other people can be quite acceptable. However, being betrayed by your sister is on a different level. Tosin must've been hurt badly.
To forgive that kind of betrayal is very hard
If Tosin didn’t get promotion, it would have been worse but finally, she did get it
Seeing someone else taking all the praises that you deserve can be very crazy

Wow, It’s painful when someone close betrays you all because of jealousy. Jealousy can really make people do terrible things, but I’m glad Tosin still got her promotion in the end.
