I was wondering why my friend Paulina hadn't come to the office that day, I tried calling her but she was not picking up her calls. So I tried to call one of our friend if they had been able to reach her but that one too said that she hadn't heard from her. I became so worried that I was calling all the people that I knew because Paulina always calls me on the phone even if she can't make it to work.
So finally I decided to call one guy named Tega whom she was crushing on seriously to know if she had called him, cause the guy was also our friend but she had a deep crush on him. He finally picks and told me that Paulina was sick. And can't make it to work. I panicked, took an excuse from work for an emergency at home called one of our friend that Paulina wasn't feeling fine, I rushed to her house.
When she saw me she was shocked, she asked me why I was there, I told her that Tega told me that she was very sick and that was why I was there. I had to ask her why she was acting weird, but she maintained the lie and told me that she had a headache and fever. Well, I followed her inside but she wasn't looking too happy to see me.
Then suddenly there was another knock on the door and I went to get it, it was her roommate and also our friend Maddie who walked in with a guy around the neighborhood named Francis and Monica another friend of ours. The house was filled with people just because one jovial person was sick.
So I heard a noise from the kitchen and went in to check, it was Tega who was preparing food for Paulina in her kitchen. We all sat down and were worried about her. I could see beyond that she is up to no good and I can equally see that she is not sick but faking it and I don't want to expose her.
So I gently took her inside and asked her to be honest with me about what's with all this charade that she is putting up, I know that she is perfectly okay. She was about to tell me when Maddie came inside and told her to spill fast, cause she was perfect in the morning when she was leaving for work, so when did this sickness start?
Well, I wanted to have alone time with Danilo and all the green lights that am showing him, his not seeing them. Paulina said
Both i and Maddie burst laughing, Paulina stood there with her hand akimbo and her eye shining like a dagger toward us.

Because he has just been a caring friend, I don't think there is another thing but if you believe otherwise, let's leave it, I just have to end the discussion and we all return to the living room, acting like we don't know the truth until Tega comes and called us over to the dining table.
Over the dining table, everybody was quiet until Monica spoke up, the moment she tasted the pepper soup that Tega prepared.
Haba, Tega are you sure that this pepper soup was Paulina you prepared it for, Monica said looking at everybody's faces.
What do you mean, Maddie asked tasting the pepper soup, she was elevated, this pepper soup is so tasty
I had to taste it too, to confirm why Maddie said it tasted good and why Monica questioned him.
Immediately after I drank it, I asked Tega did you really make this pepper soup for Paulina or it's Maddie?
I made it for Paulina, why, is something wrong, Tega asked feigning ignorant of Paulina's health

All of us looked at Tega, but he did not say anything, it was Francis who spoke up.
So you guys don't know that it's Maddie whom Tega made the pepper soup for, he likes Maddie but doesn't dare to toast her because he lacks the courage, he knows everything Maddie likes, he starts laughing alone, then pauses and notices that he just Let The Cat Out. Everybody was quiet because that wasn't our expectation.
Paulina didn't know when she snapped and yelled at Tega for pretending to care but it was all for Maddie, meanwhile out of emotion she told Tega and every other person that she wasn't sick and she faked it because of Tega
Ha, that was the sound. Monica said Francis is here because he likes Paulina and his hoping she will see.
It turns out that the guys have their different reason for coming. Paulina just asked everybody to leave , she just accepted her fate and let Tega go
