I subscribed to #theinkwell because I have been a writer for many years and have only seen my skills grow through the help of other authors. I used to be in a few different writing communities and I long for that learning and growth. To me, enhancing my writing skills is one of the greatest things to make me a better person.
If I grow enough, maybe I'll become a Best Seller... although I am probably leaning towards self-publishing through Ingram Spark instead of querying and waiting and giving myself ulcers worrying over whether or not my writing will ever be considered good enough.

I haven't tried my hand at the writing challenge(s) yet, but I plan to do some. I have a pretty busy life, so I have to try and carve out time to write; and I have a piece I've been working on for about a week for my Scenic Views series, on-and-off, as the inspiration struck.
I'll take a look at it and see if I can get in on one.
