My only dream was to support my family after my graduation. I saw, how my father worked hard just to support me and my siblings. We were a family of 9 members and my father was the only provider of the family. He was a laborer and his salary was not enough to bear our expenses, but still, he did his best to provide us with a good living. When I was an undergraduate, I wanted to support him by doing something, but he wanted me to focus on my studies.
"My dear daughter! Just be strong and focus on your aim to be graduated. No matter what circumstances, I will always be by your side."
"Daddy! One day, all our worries would end. You will see, how I will help you after completing my education."
"Sure! But your first aim should be your study."
I know how my father fought with his whole family just to make us what we are today. His relatives always criticized him for allowing us to study at this level. They used to pass negative remarks on him every day, but he never let us down and stood in front of us like a strong pillar. This was the reason, I made up my mind that I wouldn't let any distraction come my way and would fulfill his dream. At one time, I was hopeless, when I was not able to pay my installments in the university and they asked me to pay the fee before the deadline otherwise they wouldn't allow me to sit in the exams. But Almighty helped me and I was able to pay my fee.
During my last semester, I was full of hope. I studied hard and gave my final exam which I passed with good grades. Now I was waiting for the graduation ceremony. I was used to planning certain things with my friends and siblings. Finally the day full of hope, the day for which I waited for too long, the day which my father dreamed of, the day for which he heard the sarcastic remarks of others, the day for which I suffered a lot, the day which was going to be the life changer for me came in my life. I proudly went to the stage to receive my degree and my whole family was also present at this big day in my life. I was happy and grateful to Almighty for making my dream come into reality.
"Now everything will be alright, now I will support my household expenses,"
I said this to my parents.
But after graduation, the real struggle started. The real challenge for me was to find a good job in a country where so many educated people were wandering unemployed. I submitted my resume to several institutions but couldn't find a job. Every time I got a rejection, I was disappointed. Slowly my dreams started to shatter and I found myself hopeless. The real struggle of life dawned on me and it altered my whole perception. I realized the fact that life is not a bed of roses. I was used to thinking that, my job would be waiting for me or someone would offer me in plate as soon as I completed my graduation, but I met with a new phase in my life.
"Daddy! I am sorry!..... I tried hard but couldn't find a job, I couldn't make you proud.
"Don't worry my child, I don't want anything from you. Your graduation is your real achievement and I am happy about that. Just be hopeful, things will get better soon."
But during this difficult phase, the best thing for me was the support of my parents who always encouraged me to do better in life. One day I was sitting in my lounge when I received an interview call from a private institution. I got some hope and went for an interview. Although I was nervous, everything went well. After the interview, the manager informed me,
"Congratulations Mam! You are selected for this position. You can join us from Monday. "
Hearing this, I sprang up with happiness. Although the salary was not according to my expectations, I was still happy with this achievement after so many heartbreaks. My father also said words of wisdom to me,
"Life demands struggle, if we would stay consistent, the time will show us gradual improvement. So stay strong my brave girl."

Congratulations on that breakthrough.
It's really funny how we thought just graduating from school would be the end of struggles in the world. The main struggle start after graduation because it's just few that's lucky enough to land a job immediately after school
You are right, our hopes shattered after finding the reality.😅
When we were in school, we thought life would be easier after the graduation and certificate but the real life struggle begins and reality is dawned on us. What we thought was simple to approach would become a hard one, making us want to lose hope but you know, the word of encouragement from our parents and trusting in God keep us going.
Glad you finally got a job to help you even though the salary wasn't your expectations.
Yes dear life is totally opposite of what we were used to think. But my parents helped me alot.
