KNOWLEDGE IS NOT ENOUGH!
Think of these:
A Doctor smoking.
A Lawyer breaking traffic laws.
An Engineer working without helmet.
Despite been a Doctor with vast knowledge of medicine, knowing full well that smoking is not good yet smoke, knowledge is not enough.
A Lawyer who had acquired great knowledge in law still break rules, knowledge is not enough.
An Engineer with knowledge of safety yet is on site without an helmet, knowledge is not enough.
Nothing makes fool of person like knowledge! Knowledge is very dangerous, it will makes fool out of a person before destroying him. Yet, it is unavoidable. If a person ignores it, he goes into captivity.
What is this dangerous word "knowledge"?
Knowledge simple means INFORMATION. Whatsoever you are informed about, you have the knowledge of it.
Why is many so foolish in this generation?
Because they are filled with unapplied vast informations!.
Think of this:
An average person have been receiving information right from the womb, mothers will agree to this. After birth, the information continues with the parents inform of instructions - Junior leave there, stop jumping about, the food is hot and so on. Then he goes to pre- nursery, nursery, primary receiving additional informations from class teacher. After the primary, he further by going to secondary receiving nothing but informations. From there, he proceed to high institution where he receives higher informations and graduates. What about spiritual informations from religious bodies like the church? These circle of receiving informations is unending, it's for a life time.
Picture yourself as the person described above, of all the knowledge you have acquired, how much of it do you applied? This is what we do: as we advance in life, we neglect past knowledge without application and go for more and more without application.
Can you see why a doctor will smoke, a lawyer will break the laws and an engineer will not wear an helmet.
