RE: The Pirate

Great story, @jhymi. It's odd how a story like this can get the readers rooting for a criminal! We want her to succeed, and it's devastating when she gets caught!

The Crystal Pirate. That was the name graciously given to the thief. That was my name. Pathetic. It was funny how the media unwittingly made villains become heroes with pathetic names.

So true. Those who get special names like that probably get a thrill from it!

There are a few errors you should fix. In this sentence, "her" should be "my."

The one and only person I had given her heart to and he not just broke it but ran away with all my valuables.

And in this one, "herself" should be "myself."

And so I found herself a week later at D’eclaires Museum with my fiery red wig, blazing red lipstick and green contacts.

Other than that, the story is awesome!

I'll fix it right away. Thanks for drawing my attention to it. I wanted the readers to love her. And make us understand that sometimes, the bad guys are not really the bad guys. And I'm glad you love the story. I appreciate it.🤗
