Jane, Nkechi and Ada were roommates turned besties, they always do things together and would always wait for each other to go to class together, they were good friend's.
Jane and Nkechi are party lovers, they are never missing out from any school party and even parties done outside the school environment. They would travel, leaving school with workload of assignment and notes to go party.
Ada was different, she was more into her studies and would only join them when the party is within the school or school environment, most times she usually come up with excuses not to attend party with them.
People wonder why they are even close friends since Ada isn't living their kind of life. A course mate who liked Ada told her one day "I don't know what you see in those your so called friends, they will put you in trouble one day, please be careful "
Ada responded calmly and told her that they were fine and respect each other even with their differences. Most times when they go out of town to party, Ada is the one who helps them with their assignment, and any submission that's very important and can't be delayed. She always cover up for them and her friends shows appreciation because they would bring back gifts for her from their trip.
"I must not miss this party for anything, this is going to be the best party ever" Jane mentioned to her friend Nkechi.
"Yeahhhh and all the big boys and girls in town would be there, even celebrities, what I meet my dream man there, I won't miss it, to hell with test, I'm going to have the best fun of my life this weekend " Nkechi said with a dreamy look.
Both of them laughed happily and started to discuss how they would raise money for the trip and need to get eye catching expensive nightlife wears that would draw attention to them.
Then Jane brought a suggestion to go along with Ada. "She's always missing out of fun activities, I think we should convince her to join in this party, you never can tell who she would meet" Jane said with a wide grin.
When they got back to their room, they decided to inform Ada about their plans, they also told her about the party and the calibre of people that would be there, how they would make lots of money if they attended.
Ada wasn't feeling good about traveling all the way to Abuja just because of a party. While still contemplating, Nkechi quickly added that they would take care of all her expenses, that they just wanted her to have fun and meet new people, rich men that would take good care of her, not her senseless school boyfriend that broke her heart after all she did for him.
Ada finally accepted to go with them and the friends were happy and started making plans immediately. They finally left for the party and it was exactly as her friends Jane and Nkechi had told her. The party was filled with celebrities and well to do people, Jane and Nkechi had fun as they danced and screamed at the top of their voices singing to the music and flaunting their beautiful bodies.
Ada sat and watched them dance while sipping a drink. A handsome looking man approached her and asked for a dance and they danced together and bonded immediately. After the dance, the friends came togther and winked at Ada, asking who the handsome man was. "I think he's stinking rich" said Jane, please hold on to him tight o and they laughed...
"He wanted me to spend the night with him but I refused, how can I spend the night with someone I barely knew, someone I met just few minutes ago, I can't and I bluntly told him" said Ada.
"You did what? you are a fool, why would you reject him, do you know who he is? Oh goodness! and I came looking this hot so as to attract this rich men but got nothing " Nkechi said angrily and left.
Jane said to Nkechi, "I have a plan, I think we should spike her drink and send her off with him, this must work out, we must make this money before going back to school"
They succeeded in the plan and drugged their friend Ada, who woke up the next morning and found herself in the hotel with the strange man.
Ada wept bitterly and told her friends Jane and Nkechi that they were not good friends because good friends look out for each other but they did the exact opposite.
Ada vowed never to attend parties again because of what happened, she focused more on her studies instead.

Nice one sister, that is why is best to choose your friends among those who believed what you believe, and also not everyone that appears good is actually good, some offer you help or hand of friendship for theirselfish interest or out of greed or jealousy. Once they achieve what they want, they will trash you out. Ada really learned in a hard way.
I enjoyed your story.
Thanks for visiting my blog
Thanks
It's important we know the kind of company we keep and some decisions we make. of being cautious about the company. Ada's experience in this story is a clear reminder that not everyone who calls themselves a friend has our best interests at heart. Sometimes, it's better to stay with few than to be surrounded by the wrong people.
Yes you are right. Thanks for reading.
