RE: The Lost Girl

Mysterious tale of an unsolved mystery. It has a great leisurely rhythm, and the narrator's voice takes time to carefully describe the events. It's great that while it has a supernatural element (or seems to), it's not the prominent feature. A deep-thinking read.

I really like how magic realism will write the fantastical details in without it being a big deal. I wanted to ahve more of a magic feel to this but I didn't have time or energy to pull it off, and it was a blending of two ideas that didn't work as well as I wanted it to. It's the kind of story I wouldn't mind rewriting entirely. Thanks for your comment though babe, appreciated as always.
