Honestly, this is very common.

Your profession should be chosen by you but our parent thinks the only way to succeed is doctor, engineer and lawyer…

I’m glad you were able to chose your path.

    They think those professions churn out the most money that's why. They just want the best for us so I wouldn't blame them.
