Slowly, the ball at his feet rolled, getting faster and faster. He uses the outside of his right shoe to dribble, while his left foot is the foundation to keep everything under control. To the right of the field, he shot like a low-flying bullet.
But, suddenly a player jumps and stood in front of him. It turned out to be O'Neilson. He will break the attack of the opposing side's attacking midfielder.
The number 13 player immediately stopped the ball. They are now facing each other. O'neilson stood before him, as if he were a great fortress. Their posture is actually not much different.
"I won't let it go," O'neilson smiled. His gaze felt very condescending and threatening to the opponent, and now he began to spread his arms.
"Seize him!" shouted a spectator from the top row of the stands. His shout was met with cheers.
"Smack him, O'neilson!" another shouted.
Hearing the cheers and yells from above the stands, the player with number 13 smiled.
"Why are you smiling?" O'neilson felt belittled and he simply couldn't accept it. That is an insult.
However, his opponent did not answer at all. He is analyzing the opportunities he will take. There, in the middle of the field, his friend was giving the signal. He looked back at O'neilson, but kept his distance to keep the ball at his feet.
O'neilson was only given space to establish his defense from about half a meter. Apart from that, they both just back and forth, along with the bluffing moves of the number 13 player and the pouncing bluff of O'neilson.
On the one hand, O'neilson also has not dared to make a decision. He knew who he was dealing with. His opponent cannot be underestimated.
Again, the friend of player number 13 waved to his friend to pass the ball immediately. However, that was not done because there were opposing players looming behind him.
In addition, if he passes forward, the chances of offside are very high. The biggest opportunities were in the corners, but right now he was facing O'neilson.
"You're thinking too much, bro," O'neilson's tone was mocking, but again he didn't answer at all.
"—here!" suddenly there was a friend of player number 13 who was waiting in the corner of the field.
That's a good opportunity. Player number 13 began to pull back the ball that was at his feet. He wanted to pass to the corner there.
"Are you afraid to pass me?
O'neilson again tried to provoke but was ignored.
"Why don't you try?"
Time may move slowly for the two of them, but for the audience everything moves very quickly. The same goes for O'Neilson. He was starting to get bored with the stares at each other.
He immediately took action. He pulled and then pressed his right heel into the grass with all his might as a substitute for a thrower and then immediately lunged in front of his opponent with his body lying down.
O'neilson felt he had snatched the ball from the number 13's feet, until he saw for himself how the player jumped and crossed him and landed very gently about 30 centimeters from O'neilson's crown.
"Damn?!"
One stadium rumbled to see the amazing action.
Before leaving O'neilson, who was still in that position, the number 13 smirked.
"Don't be too sure, bro," he dashed forward, leaving the sight of his number 13 to O'neilson.
This is absolutely unacceptable. O'neilson immediately bounced back chasing the number 13 jersey with all his might. This time he wanted to do it with all the remaining strength he still had.
Looks like the number 13 jersey didn't realize that something was approaching from behind him. He still continues to dribble and move across to the middle of the field, and is now heading to the penalty box.
Nothing can stop him. He even just outwit two opposing players.
When he sees an open opportunity where the opposing goalkeeper's defensive position is focused to the right, the number 13 is getting ready to kick the ball in the opposite direction.
He also stopped for a split second to stabilize the position of the ball kick, then pulled his leg back hard before being hit into the ball.
However, when he released his kick, that's where a foot suddenly came and pressed the ankle of the number 13 player's foot in the opposite direction.
He also lost control, at the same time he had just released all his strength through the kick earlier when O'neilson' foot came crashing down from the left side, so he flew into the air.
The number 13 closed his eyes, not daring to look down as his body hit the grass.
When that happened again the audience cheered. Voices of anger and excitement mixed from each side of the audience.
Player number 13 opened his eyes. The stadium ceiling and spotlights were dazzling. His back ached. Suddenly O'neilson's face covered his.
"You're too cocky, man. It's an 11 man game, not one man show," O'neilson teased.
Before moving to carry the ball he had just won, O'neilson had a chance to wink. He didn't say anything in response to O'neilson's taunt, but he could still see as the man ran his back to him before he disappeared into the middle of the field with the number 13 jersey, the same as him.
