I've been wondering what's those voices Cassie heard. Although it gave me an idea when you specified about the mental illness thing. Even so I was hoping to have a clearer story as what @theinkwell said. It's not that it was lacking maybe it t was just me looking for something. But it's a beautiful read and you wrote it well. Very nice.
