Lost in the mountain. Part 1
What you are about to read happened when I was 17, my sense of direction was worse than now and my sense of physical preservation was on vacation. The images used here are allusive because at that time I had neither a camera nor a phone available.
It was noon, summer was coming, classes were saying goodbye and plans without feet and head were beginning to arrive, one of those plans was the one that brought me to that square that fateful day (although at that time I didn't know that everything could get so out of control) I didn't have a phone and I was supposed to meet my friends here, but... There was no sign of them or anyone else, there was only one of the kids from the other group that was going to join us that day. We would go up to the mountain, spend the weekend up there and everything sounded great in my mind, alcohol, food, girls and many other things that only made me want more for the night to come... I didn't know how wrong I was.
Since nobody was arriving, we assumed that we had arrived late and that they had gone ahead of us, we decided to go up by ourselves to catch up with the rest (our first mistake) and we went up, took the main road until we reached the entrance of the sector where we would be camping, we started walking, walking, walking, like this for hours until we reached a cliff that let us see a clearing in the distance and what we thought was the dam next to where we would be camping. There were only two ways to get to that clearing as far as we could see, one was to go back the way we went to the point that gave way to the pine forest, that would take hours, the other was to go down a steep but passable road (according to me of course) as we did not agree on which of the two roads to go, we decided what I think, is one of the worst decisions I have made in my life, we would separate and each would take the best route for the other (our second mistake) and here, my friends, is where things started to go wrong.
If you want to know how this story ends, give love to this post and soon you will know the end of this
This is an interesting start to a story, but it isn't really telling us anything yet.
You might like to take part in the finale of the Fiction Challenge.
You need to include the source of your pictures if they are not your own.
Just wait for the continuation of the story. I would like to participate in the Fiction Challenge
For the next post I will put the source of the image
I've gotten lost many times. Finding yourself is more important than the destination.
