Did I hear a sound a bird intone?
A ditty in your laughter of monotone
As the tempest of love swept me
Off my feet and lost I seem to be.
The wind whistling whims hasten
Towards the Trees astir and listen
And all at once my world turn pink
In your voice caressing soft as mink.
Relume this passion old splendid still
To flow of love for ages and ever will
For a lovers' vow, a troth sublime
Forever will in every season chime.
And again in summer it comes stirring
Stella in starlight and Venus awakening
This passion our hearts to cherish
Whence fount of hope will not perish.

I like this line:
Do you only write poetry or would you like to enter our short story writing prize?
This is a tempting offer but I am not sure yet at the moment.
Nice poem! It's very sweet! Thanks for sharing!
