Susan woke up on that Monday morning and hissed for so long.
”What’s the problem?,” Banke, her roommate asked. Susan said to her roommate ”You know it’s Monday and I don’t like how stressful it is all the time,” Susan said back to her roommate and tried to stand up to take her bath and take care of herself.
She picked up her toothbrush and every other thing she would be needing in the bathroom. She tried to open the tap but the water was not running.
Susan was so furious because she expected the gatekeeper to pump water but he didn’t.
She yelled at him.
”Hey you! Don’t you know you’re supposed to pump water or do we always have to remind you? If you’re tired of your job, you can leave,” she yelled at him and she went straight to the pumping machine to put it on all by herself.
Susan waited five minutes for the water to start rushing. She stepped into the bathroom again and had her bath. She loves to sing while taking her bath but that didn’t happen this time because she was very furious just because it’s Monday.
After her bath, she brought out a white silky dress from her wardrobe. The dress is so beautiful and also one of her best dresses. No matter how sad Susan may be, she always love to look good.
She got all dressed and took a look at herself in the mirror and she was looking very beautiful.
”Bye Banke. See you later!” she said to her roommate who was as well getting ready for her workplace but Susan resumes earlier and she’s an early bird as well
”Bye babe. I’d get you shawarma when I’m coming back at night,” Banke said to Susan to make her smile and have a good day if that will work.
Susan’s house isn’t far from her workplace so she always trek down to her workplace. While walking with her beautiful heels alongside the road, a very beautiful Mercedez GLK350 passed by her side and splashed water on her dress. You know Susan was furious before but she became extra furious that she could not even be controlled.
”Ahhhh, can’t you see? Are you blind? Did you not see me walking alongside the road before you decided to speed? What’s wrong with wretched people like you?,” Susan said a lot of insultive words to the guy but all he could say was I’m sorry.
He offered to give Susan a ride to her house so she could change her dress or maybe get her a new dress at the nearest boutique but Susan refused. She went angrily back to the house to change her dress and in all of that, she was already one hour late. She said to herself, ”I guess my spirit knew I’d have a bad day and maybe that’s why I woke up hissing like a snake.”
She got dressed again and started going to work. When she finally got to her workplace, she found out that the gate was locked. She picked her phone to call one of her colleagues and asked, ”Hello Tife, I got to work now and realized the gate was locked. Did we move out of here or what is going on?,” She said to Tife while perambulating the whole street.
”Didn’t you check the message on the WhatsApp group? We were asked not to come to work today. Our boss has something important to attend so he asked us to stay back,” Tife said back to Susan and the conversation ended.
Susan was so mad at herself for not checking the WhatsApp group in the first place. She went back home and slept like a baby on her bed. When she woke up, she saw series of missed calls on her phone. It was her boyfriend. He called her fifteen times so she picked up the phone so she could call him back.
”Hey baby. I’m sorry for not picking your calls. I was asleep because I had a* higgledy-piggledy** day,”* she said to her man but the young man doesn’t understand what higgledy-piggledy meant and she explained to him while she also told him how everything happened and he day went.
Her man felt sorry for her and came to pick her at home, took her to a restaurant that she has always wanted to visit and gave her a nice treat.
Her boyfriend made sure that he was able to erase the higgledy-piggledy day off her mind.
This was a nice read. I would also be angry if someone splashes water on my white dress. It's nice she finally had a good day.
