Modupe was happy when she received the letter to serve in an organization she had been dreaming of working for; it was like NYSC knew what she wanted by posting her to the organization of her choice, in which she was given accommodation with three free square meals a day.On her first day of resumption, the first person to receive her at the corper lodge was the corper liaison officer; he was just her type. What she has been longing for in a man. Even though she has a fiancé, Alfred was just the perfect crush she wanted.“You’re welcome to the corporate lounge,” responded Alfred with an attractive smile that blows her mind high. Alfred seems to be cute with an attractive beauty to behold in a man. He gave her a welcome smile. He introduced her to the other corpers and showed her around the organizational environment with the rules and regulations guarding the workers.
They seem to be very close with the friendship, due to his charisma, his kindness, and the gesture that she has been longing to see in a man.But Mary observed it and tried her possible best to warn her, but she insisted and told her it's just a friendship tool between both of them. Not knowing that Alfred has finally proposed to her.

She finally decided to ignore her first fiancé, who proposed to her before going for service. Due to the fact that Alfred has become her kryptonite, which she really cherishes a lot without thinking twice about who he is, but due to the physical care and admiration he has and she has been longing to see in her dreams. Love becomes tied with no chance that Alfred does not really care for her in terms of proposing to her for marriage.
Some month later, a new corper was brought to the organization; Alfred devoted the love he has for Mary to the new corper. Mary challenged him, but he finally opened up to her and told her that she's not the type of woman he longs to spend the rest of his life with. This statement makes her so devastated that it makes her not get sense for a while.But her friend never left her alone, but still yet she found it hard to let go of the love she had for him; she felt like managing him because she really loved him. Some months later, Alfred finally finished his service; he didn't bother to check on her any longer.
