Un domingo en la mañana habló con su tío Cipriano:

«Que esté dividida en dos partes, para simular que Cheo me parte en dos».

«El próximo sábado.»
Al día siguiente, se organizó con todos los que participan con ella en estas actividades, ensayaron días antes del espectáculo, diseñaron el telón oscuro que funcionaría como cortina, para correrlo a la hora del espectáculo, llamado «El circo».
El sábado por la mañana el tío Cipriano ya había terminado la caja La joven se paró dentro y le dijo:
