"Kate give me back my toy, stop taking what doesn't belong to you", Katrina shouted at the top of her voice.
"Mom, Kate took my toy and doesn't want to return it" Katrina continued as she sobbed slightly.
"It's okay, she is your sister, she was just playing with you. You don't have to cry over that, remember big girls don't cry", Martha, their mother, consoled Katrina, who was wiping her face with her palm.
Kate and Katrina are twins; they are both six years of age, but Kate looks a bit more mature than her age, which she uses to her advantage against Katrina, who looks a bit smaller. Kate always enjoys teasing her sister by taking her toys and hiding them, and when she's corrected, she gets angry unnecessarily.
"Kate, don't make your sister cry, that's a bad thing to do. I always tell you to play nice", their mother said to Kate who was smiling seeing Katrina sob.
"I was just playing with her mom; she is crying like a baby," Kate replied.
"You are both babies. Stop troubling her, okay, and be a good girl", Martha said while she kissed her forehead.
"You love Katrina more. That's why you always take her side," Kate said as he angrily went to her room.
"Come on baby, don't say that. I love both of you equally", Martha replied as she watched Kate bang on her door.
After some minutes, a broken said came from the girl's room; Katrina was with their mother in the living room, and only Kate was in the room. Immediately, Martha rushed in to see what had broken, only to see that Kate had dropped the lamp on the stool in their room.
"I told you not to be a naughty girl, Kate, why did you drop the lamp? I love you, and I'm sure you know that. Don't ever think I don't love you, alright, and don't go breaking things like this; that isn't good at all, and you see all these things; they are fragile. They need to be handled carefully and gently, I wouldn't want you to do that next time. Come here and hug mummy," Martha said as she hugged the two girls.
"Let me clean this up; sit quietly on the bed," Martha said as she carried them both on the bed while she went to the kitchen to get the broom to sweep the broken lamp and shattered glasses on the floor.
Kate, as usual, continues to trouble Katrina, and in their class, she is being tagged as a troublemaker. On their birthday, their mother asked both of them what they would like as gifts. Each of them requested different things, and to please the girls, their mother, Martha, took them to the toy unit of the mall. After Kate and Katrina's shopping, as they were about to step out, their mother saw a beautiful set of plates that caught her attention. She bought it, and they headed home. On getting home, Kate decided that she no longer wanted the gift she bought; she now preferred Katrina's. Martha dropped the carton of the plate on the floor to open and check the new plates when Kate began to weep, she left the plates to attend to Kate.
"Kate, you picked that for yourself; why are you suddenly not interested? You can't take your sister's because that's what she wanted", Martha said to Kate who had now started shedding crocodile tears.
"Okay, we will go back to the mall in the evening to get you another one, how about that? Manage the one with you till we visit in the evening", Martha consoled her.
"I want it now; give me Katrina's," Kate began to weep bitterly.
"No, I won't collect hers for you; that's not good. Manage the one with you, and I'll get you another one later," Martha explained to Kate.
As Kate was crying and stomping her feet, she kicked the plate her mother placed on the floor, and two hot broken out of four.
Immediately, Martha drew Kate backward to protect her from placing her feet on the broken plates. She ran to the kitchen to pick up the broom to clean up the mess. Afterward, she warned Kate to always be careful and to stop getting angry over little things.
"I told you things made of glass and ceramic are fragile and are to be handled with care, you went ahead to kick it. Don't do that again and for this one you did, you will hold on to that toy as I won't be getting you another one. So be a good girl and be contented with what's yours", Martha said to Kate who sat on the cushion like a little angel after breaking the plate.
"This will teach you contentment, and this silly anger of yours will be quenched. Either you take your toy, or I give you nothing. Am I clear?" Martha said, looking sternly into Kate's eyes.
"Yes, ma", Kate replied soberly.
"Good girl, I love you girls. Come hug mummy", Martha said opening her arms for a hug while Kate and Katrina ran into her arms.

What a temper Martha has, thank God my sister Martha doesn't have such tempers 😁 and you think she's also a twin.

Sibling love. After all the fight she still protected her from the broken plates.
What a problematic girl, her tantrums caused serious problems, in the end the mother was firm with the girl to correct her behavior.
