Poor Azios! That ending got me - "He was like a son to me" and going to bed crying. I can feel how devastated he is.
I'm curious though... the story doesn't really explain why Zanty needs to leave after 475 years of marriage. Like, what happened in those last 52 years that made him need to "follow his journey alone"? Maybe that's intentional - sometimes relationships just grow apart without dramatic reasons.
