Awww, how cute... I really relate to how messy pets can be if they're not potty trained. Our cat also did the same with her pooping anywhere she felt like it. That was really a tough year for us, but thankfully she learned later on. It was kinda sad that you ended up sending her away, but that was really for the best. It is true, they go through a learning and adaptation process and one has to be prepared to help them.
