An excellently constructed story with a narrative fluidity that makes us reach the end with the same expectation as at the beginning. I really liked the idea of a post-apocalyptic world and science as the enemy of society, without a doubt a reflection of what is happening in society today. Very enjoyable to read. Excellent work.
Thanks for sharing your story with us.
Excellent day.
Thank you very much, @rinconpoetico7. As you know, keeping the narrative flow is one of the greatest challenges in any piece of writing. Mostly I find I cut the 'sharp edges', the places that slow down the pace--words that aren't necessary, for example, or details that don't add to the plot.
This ended in a good place for Andros, but that doesn't mean he's right. I hoped to give some complexity to the conflict. Science did kill millions in the story. Science has saved millions throughout history. Knowledge is good. Knowledge corrupts.
It's not easy, being human :))
