A simple moment with my mom made me write out this poetry from the words she had spoken. This isn't a poem written recently, as I wrote it few months back. I hope you enjoy and see through the meanings it is trying to establish.
Mama's Words
The world is spherical for many reasons.
Do not expect to see the end of things from the beginning.
At your back, could be lying the end you are seeking.
Son, this is just how the world was created - full of mysteries.
Do not run backward, you will never get there!
Though it is the shortest distance, it is not the quickest.
And you'd be so gone before you realize it.
Son, this is how the world was created - full of mysteries.
Is it not strange? "Black colours" logically is the most friendly.
They hide your shame and make sense of any outfit.
Yet, they are considered evil to their counterpart in reality.
Son, this is how the world was created - full of mysteries.
Life isn't balanced. It is never considerate.
Be smart, be unpredictable and be passionate.
Beat life at its own freaking game.
Make mama proud. Make me proud someday.

Life indeed is full of mysteries. We could try to comprehend its complexity, but surely it'll be hard.
Oh yeah! The irony of life is beyond understanding. We can only try to learn a bit but the ones we haven't learned will always be far greater.
