Raised and brought up by a single father in a small village, Naria could only think of her father in any circumstances. At the age of 12 she knew her mother died while she was just 2 years and her father raised her himself. They lived alone in a forest far away from the village, she leaves the house with her father if they need to buy things from the market and they return together.
Naria reads alone in the house, especially her grandfather's books and questions her father. In their village, they are known to possess great powers. Naria's grand father is known to be a great white mist of power who spent his life protecting the village and his people from it's enemies, when he died, Naria's father is supposed to be the next in line to possess these power but he failed to possess these power. Before his father's death, he gave him a black diamond necklace and told him to give to his first child. Ever since then, Naria had this necklace on her neck since she was a child.
However, the lives of the villagers suffers great threats in the hands of their enemies, even though they had their own powers, there still need to be a guidance power like Naria's grandfather who was a priest and will protect them. The powers of the villagers are no match to the white mist of power.
Everyone in the village took Naria's father as a failure, who failed in his role as the next in line do posses his father's power and be the next guardian. Since then, nobody knows who has the white mist of power or where it lies but they all hope to see it one day.
Naria's grandfather most times appear to her in her dreams and she tells her father about it every morning.
"Father, I spoke with him again last night" Naria tells her father about it early in the morning.
"Oh really? Tell me what you talked about" her father asks her.
"He told me a power lies in me" she replied with a smile on her face.
The truth he had tried so hard to keep away from her daughter has finally been revealed. The 15 year old Naria will find everything possible to find that great power because she knows her father will not tell her.
To find a way to protect her daughter because he knew finding the truth will be dangerous for her, he embarks on a journey early in the morning to seek help from his father's friend. With Naria alone in her room she dances happily because she was alone, the bead on her wrist breaks and scatters on the floor.
"Oh No! My birthday gift from Dad" she cried.
To create a new wrist bead, she need to hurry to the market to buy the things she needs to make them. Her first time going to the market alone, she meets the market in chaos, everybody running helter skelter for their lives. She moves closer to know what's happening, she saw two magicians fighting a black demon. They look so exhausted and there seems to be no hope for them as the black demon is about to overpower them.
In a flash of time, Naria's black diamond shines so bright and throws the demon away, the magicians looked back and stood in amazement. Her whole body changed and shone like a bright lightening, the atmosphere changed, thick clouds covered the sky. This demon recognized this great power and tried to run away, but Naria streched forth her hands and a lightening strikes the demon and drops dead. Everything returned to it's original form and Naria changed back to her self, the two magician and few villagers around dropped down on their knees to worship the white mist of power that has returned them. Naria stares in confusion and amazement.
Interesting story! Naria bears the white mist of power, which could be a burden or a gift. Certainly in the marketplace it came in handy to fight the black demon.
