Hello loverboy10
Welcome to the Hive community. I wish you the best experiences here. There are a couple of important points you need to address in order to enhance your user and financial experience on this platform. First, you were kind of mislead in your first introductory post. You should have used the #introduceyourself or #newbie tags.
The #theinkwell is a niche community that focuses upon stories. Please don't hold it against them if they don't curate your post. However, they were kind enough to let you know that. If you're looking to develop your writing skills #theinkwell is the place to go, but it's not the place for your very first post.
On introductory posts, you're introduced to a number of groups that can point you in the right direction to succeed in the community. So, if someone recommends tags for you to use, make sure they are the correct ones.
Proofofbrain would curate your post, but we're only one community. If you have a host or guide, please ask them to point you to groups like #theterminal. Users like @wesphilbin are veterans at guiding newcomers. You would do well to seek them out.
Finally, Hive may operate differently than other social media platforms. There are plenty of people to help you around, but the community also self-regulates. If your article falls outside certain boundaries, you may receive a downvote that removes some of your pending rewards.
Please take a look at the following articles to familiarize yourself with how Hive operates generally. Feel free to ask questions and please don't commit plagiarism. Take care, man.
