in a story andHello @lacrucita, thank you for a lovely review and what a wonderful choice!
I agree with you about @dirge's beautiful story "When the Rains Came", it was exquisite and it is great to have it brought back to attention in your review. Like @dirge and @iamraincrystal, @deeanndmathews is another great story teller - how did you manage to choose just one story? I love how "A Preacher, A Killer and Some Cats and Dogs Went Into An Alley" manages ethical questions tells a really good story at the same time. And with your last choice, @iamraincrystal's whole series is very interesting and "Prelude To An End" is fascinating.

Thank you, @shanibeer, There are very talented writers in @theinkwell community.
I chose the stories that I think better depicted the 3 criteria I consider to be most important in a story.
setting (dirge), characters (Deeann Mathews) and story arc (Rosyel Sawali- iamraincrystal). Because everyone has a certain style and it depends more on the opinion of the readers, even when writers break with the traditional rules of writing (e.g Jose Saramago, who had a peculiar usage of punctuation)
I agree with your comments as well, thank you for sharing :)
