Mrs. Andrews saw a missed call from the school and wondered what it have been this time, she knew her boy was a troublesome one so she waited to hear the bad news. The Teacher on the phone sounded like if he was panicking and ordered Mrs. Andrews to rush to the St. Joseph Memorial hosipital in San Francisco.
She didn't wait for the call to end as she left the reciever and grabbed her keys as she dashed through the front door and into the garage with a great speed. She drove the streets like a mad woman knocking off trash cans and running pass long slow lane on the road, some cars on the honking their horn in disapproval of her driving but she didn't bother to stop, the 2017 Toyota Corola came to a stop in front of the hospital and she raced inside. She saw the teacher that sounded like the one on the phone and she asked him where her boy Toby was, in shaking voice.

Thank you!
You write a touching story, we feel the emotions of the mother as she was rushing to the hospital. Poor Toby, he deserved better. At least his paintings are there for the world to see.
Thank you for sharing that story with The Ink Well, we appreciate your presence in other writers' posts!
You nicely described some of the inner workings of Toby's mind. His way of expressing things, and the way he can be misunderstood.
Just a side note, however. Adding some spacing would make the text much easier and appealing to read, instead of them being walls of text.
Thanks for sharing that story!
My pleasure 🤍
