It was a sunny day Vikky was about to go to the supermarket when she saw a Young handsome my approaching to ask for directions. "Hello young lady, I am new in the area. Is there any restaurant nearby?" Paul said. They end up having a little bit of conversation. Paul collected her number and they started chatting, everything was going well and they started dating.
Along the line in their early relationship, Vikky realizes she loves him and would love to ask Paul an important question. Once Vikky and Paul were having a good time. "What is your genotype?" Vikky asked. "I don't know but everybody in my house is AA," Paul replied. But Vikky fails to ask if that includes his parent.
After 5 months of their relationship, Vikky got pregnant for Paul. Now when she got pregnant she didn't know. She traveled to see her sister. She was doing all those drilling and everything. The baby stayed good with them. She did not lose this baby. So when she came back from traveling, they went and did proper testing and they realized that, yeah, she's pregnant. And they were both happy. Paul was supportive until he decided that he was gonna travel abroad.
She was still pregnant then by the way. Paul went for medic hours and realized that he was AS. And from that day, the lady was so scared about her baby, and her pregnancy, and she carried the baby for the rest of the pregnancy with fear. Now she gets back to this baby, now this guy has traveled. And after this guy traveled, they started having issues. Paul eventually told Vikky to just move on with your life. "I don't think I am going to come home any time soon," Paul said.
Vikky was very sad. She kept on thinking. She has a baby, she's a single mom and the guy said move on. Now it wasn't a problem, she moved on, she was staying with her baby not until the baby started having several health issues. She thought it was malaria and it was going on and on. She went to the hospital and found out that it wasn't malaria. It was sickle cell complications.
Paul had already blocked her from all platforms she could reach but fortunately for Vikky, she managed to get his new number from one of his friends. She decided to call him "Hello Paul, it's me Vikky I just want to inform him that our baby is SS" Vikky said. He was just reacting indifferently. No concern. Like totally indifferent now. This baby is going through a series of attacks You know series of complications and she's breaking down dying inside watching her child in pain.
Remember when she even found out this guy was a is prayed to God that God please if this child is he is Please take this baby from because I don't want to give birth to a child that I'm gonna watch suffer. Paul wasn't sending any support, not showing concern. A single mom with a child with SS struggling with food bills and other basic needs. Vikky took care of the child till he became an adult.
