Well, one of the major things humans do is predict, there were predictions of how the world would be in 2023 from the 90s, but most were never really correct and there were also predictions of how the world would be like in the late 2000s, were the predictions correct I don't know.
Welcome to the future.......... Beep, beep beep the alarm rings, it's a new day January 24, 3045, and humans are the closest they have ever been. I tried to ignore the alarm but the bed turned over, today was packing day and I was instructed to pack an old storage room, After packing for hours I came across something that I had never seen before a round plastic-like disc, it was a kind of device with alphabet keys, to satisfy my curiosity I took it without telling anyone.
It's the third day since I found the device, I just left it in my room since I haven't figured out how it works. I picked it up and while I was trying to understand the purpose of the buttons all over it, It fell from my hand and the display was turned on.
After several days of pondering on it, I finally figured out how it worked, all that needed to be done was insert a disk and It would display the content of the disk, I inserted a disc in the device, and I saw people's lives in a recording some were happy and some were sad, after a whole day of wondering how they recorded their life, I saw yet another video of the same jesting, then I saw a person who died in the story alive, "wait what" I exclaimed, Isn't she dead, I questioned my self constantly.
I couldn't sleep that night questioning myself, why was a person's death being recorded, why were some smiling and others were sad? and how can the entire life of a person be watched in 2 hours? I couldn't find answers and it made me more curious. I kept scrolling the device to check in with reality, it turns out that in the times before there was a term called acting and it was a career. As if the questions in my head weren't enough I started taking a reality check and I couldn't help but think why people stopped acting like it seemed like a fun job and I wonder if it could be brought back.
