“But why did you do this to me?” Biola was so ashamed of her friend after hearing from a background what her friend was saying about her.
Bayo has been a boy girl has been dying to have. He's not just handsome, but brilliant. His eyes coupled with his eyelids were so balanced in a way that every woman who sees those parts of his face would do nothing other than to fall for him. He loved being alone in the class and loved reading with only one friend, Frank.
One fateful day, he sat lonely in the classroom as others had gone out for break. He took his Mathematics textbook and began to solve some problems. “Hey, Bayo! Can I join you?” Biola asked as she first gazed at his lips and his eyes just to see their beauty again.
“Please, it's OK, you can join me”, Bayo responded with a smile on his face. His smiles nearly drove Biola to her extreme.
As they were solving Mathematics together, Frank bounced in and gave them a nice gaze. He could now stay, other than to join them in solving mathematical problems. “Hay, Biola!” Frank called out.
“Hay Frank”, she replied keenly.
“I'm excited to see you solving Mathematics this way. You know it's unlike you”, Frank said.
“I know I hate Mathematics, but I will come to love it when I begin to bring difficulties for you guys to solve for me” Biola said, giving Bayo deep side smiles.
While solving, Mariam showed face and made a sigh sound that took Bayo's attention as well as Frank's away from what they were doing.
“Hmmm….and you did not call me to join you”, Mariam said as she pretends to be angry.
“Don't be angry”, Biola apologized.
They sat together in the class solving mathematical questions together while Mariam was giving Biola one eyed gaze that even when someone sees her would read meaning to it. Biola was a wise girl and pretended she did not see her behavior.

Meanwhile, the class has a WhatsApp group that every one of them are. Anyone can get one's phone number no matter.
“Can we do more of this group reading frequently?” Mariam asked.
“No problem”, Bayo replied.
When they all got home, Mariam was just going to the market to buy some items and met one of her mates. “Hi”, she said.
“Hi, how are you?”, her mate responded.
They began to have a conversation while standing. This leads them to talking beyond their limit.
“Did you see how Biola sat very close to Bayo the other day they were having group reading?” Mariam asked.
“Yes, I saw that, and I was surprised to see them in that way. I thought she said she does not like him personally. How come she changed her mind?”,her classmate said.
While discussing, Mariam's cell phone rang. “Hay! How are you?” She asked.
“I'm fine. Please, I want to you help me bring your new school mathematics textbook while coming tomorrow”, Biola said.
They both exchanged pleasantries and Mariam dropped her phone after their conversation.
“Speaking of the devil, that was Biola", Mariam said.
“Oh, so she thought she can get Bayo right?” Her mates asked.
“She is the type who do jump on what does not concern her. That's why I hate her so much”, Mariam said.
The two were laughing at Biola as they discussed. “She's not the type one can have as a friend. I'm just managing her”, Biola said to her mate.
When they got to school the next day, Biola was angry and could not hide her feelings, “I'm so disappointed in you. I never knew you can stoop so low to open your mouth just to insult me on the phone?” Biola said as Mariam was so confused of what she just heard. “At least, I was just there with one of my mates. How did she hear my conversation with my mates?” She asked herself.
After much thought, she saw her mate in the school and immediately suspected her to have passed their conversation to Biola. “Why did you tell Biola what we discussed on at the market?” Mariam asked.
“What! Why should I do that?” She asked.
“But how come Biola knew all we discussed?” Mariam asked.
After departure she met Biola coming from the hostel. “Please, just keep distance just as what you had said on the phone”, Biola said.
“But, ho…w”, she said.
“After our conversation, you did not abort the call, instead left it. I was listening to all the curses you were raining on me”, Biola said.
“Please, I'm sorry. I can't deny that fact. Likewise, I'm sorry”, Mariam apologized.
