You've crafted a very good story here, and it has an excellent story arc. We fear for the child and the mother, with a fake gynecologist giving care at a critical time, when their lives are at stake, and then we are relieved when all is well.

A few tips for you:

  • Be sure to check over your story for words that may not have translated to English. For example, the word "Dhoopam" is not an English word, so English speaking readers will not understand that part of your story.
  • We have some excellent resources in our catalog of fiction writing tips for writers who are just starting out. In particular, please see the post Help for the Grammatically Challenged. It provides tips for using Google Docs to draft your posts. You can do this on a PC or a smart phone. Google Docs will point out errors in grammar and wording choice, which you can then fix by clicking on them.

Thank you for engaging with other writers in the community by reading and commenting on their posts! Keep writing!

This story got my heart racing, @supo1. Nice work! Thanks for posting in The Ink Well.

Be careful with this account Jayna. I can't prove with his other posts, at least not yet, but I caught him plagiarising his latest one and notified people in that community. The type of mistakes in that one and the ones I read of him are similar in nature. Also, if you remember Brandt, he found another post he plagiarised.

I can't be sure with the rest, but be careful with this individual.
