"Some goodbyes happen too fast, leaving us replaying moments, looking for things we missed."
It was Thursday morning, the August rain started as a light drizzle, the one that does make the world looks as if it was wrapped in a glass. Tizzy and I stood under a mango tree, gisting and laughing over silly things, making jest of lovers who refer to a drizzling weather as "weather for two."
That morning, after a long time spent together, Tizzy starred at me like a stranger, with tears in his eyes and said to me with a heavy heart, "how I wish I stayed with you here forever. How I wish time permits us to continue seeing each other till death sets us apart." Hmmm! If I had known it was his last goodbye, I might have held him back. I might have held him under the mango tree where we stood for long, or forced him to pass a night with me or stopped him from going or anything.
Kai! The only thing I said to him was, "okay bro, take care! I'll miss you." I said this pulling him into a quick hug. "Catch you somedays." His gazes held mine a moment longer than usual, and he smiled, a soft and reluctant smile. " Till we meet again," he said, with a laugh, light and strange again as if he knew something I did not know.
I watched him took his bike and threw his last wave at me. I went home unaware of how much that goodbye would haunt me.
Moments later, I received a call from an unknown number. Guess what! Boom! I heard "your friend Tizzy has been crushed to death in a ghastly accident on his way. The rest was blur. I found myself standing on a cold isle, empty and stretched. I replayed his last goodbye and wave he threw at me and I broke into tears. I recalled how he was a caring, defensive, and selfless friend. I thought of how we both planned to become the next world best content creators (comedy). Infact, tears took over other thoughts. But there was nothing I can do. I knew he was gone and gone forever. Tizzy, my beloved friend, I believe there's a place beyond this planet where friends reunite. And if there be as I believe, we shall meet again to part no more.
Goodbye once again, Tizzy!

This was an everlasting goodbye. This is s good story and well-constructed, but did not get to theinwell standard. You would have made it up to 750 words. Just try to go through their rules.
Goodbye Tizzy,
Boss make it 750.
