Whilst your creative non-fiction story is heartfelt, moving, and hits hard, it also contains violent and graphic content that breaches the guidelines of The Ink Well. You also use images that are not correctly sourced or accredited and some have been traced to paid libraries such as iStock and are therefore not royalty-free. All images used in stories posted in TIW need to be your own images or royalty-free and properly image sourced with URL links provided.
Kindly edit your story to meet the Ink well guidelines, remove images that breach copyright and/or are graphically violent, and image source the remaining images. We cannot curate posts unless or until they meet our requirements. Posts that depict graphic violence or images or violence or any violent conduct against women in particular, risk being muted in the community.
