As regards your submission, I have a couple of things to add:

Firstly we expect our writers to support at least two other writers in the community through meaningful engagement and comments on two other stories that you have read, each time you submit one of your own stories to The Ink Well.

We also advise our writers that stories should aim to meet a minimum threshold of 750 words or risk being underdeveloped.

All submissions should also be thoroughly checked and edited for basic spelling, punctuation, and grammar issues using Grammarly or Google Docs, although we caution against using any of the advanced AI features of these apps which include paraphrasing, improving, fluency etc as these will cause your piece to be flagged as AI and you will risk being overlooked for curation and more.

We also require writers to provide image sourcing for the images used in their posts. If the image is your own, then you still need to state this.
