Some nice elements of fiction come through well in this piece, Edystringz. There are, however, a few anomalies that should be addressed as they tend to pull the reader out of a more immersive state.
You say at one point..."I looked at her suspiciously. "You know I can't see," I said seriously. " This is confusing for the reader. So I'm not sure, can you see or not?
After being told by the doctor that you would never sew again, you enter a sewing contest, place 2nd and then start up a luxury brand with your friend. How were you able to sew again? It's not clear what changed for this to be possible.
Finally, you are writing for the #CNF prompt but tagged the post fiction. Is this a true story or fiction?
Thank you for writing in The Ink Well.
This is not a true story @theinkwell
I used the CNF prompt but did fictional writing for it, that's why I specified with the tag and submitted it to the post with the prompt announcement. (Truthfully, I was confused about where to drop it)
About the anomalies, I'll pay close attention to the details of my story in the future. Thank you for pointing them out.
