You did a very good job with this story, @frosh. Your character is believable (although we might smile at his winning the 10 million naira). His challenge is significant. You describe the stages to overcoming that challenge well.
We do mention two small errors that you might be mindful of in future writing: one lower case 'i' when it should be upper case, and one instance of using 'faithful day' when you most likely meant 'fateful day'. This is a common error.
