A very well-structured story, @kemmyb. You clearly point out the foolishness of making assumptions--not just foolish, but harmful. Several of your characters are not pleasant (such as Tina). These unpleasant, foolish characters demonstrate well how gossip spreads. You knew what you wanted to do in this story, and you achieved your purpose.

You are absolutely correct. Most times, we are quick to make assumptions and reach conclusions that may be wrong. Eventually this destroys good relationships.
That's the purpose of this story to portray that we have both pleasant and unpleasant characters in life.
