RE: Revelation At The Caspian Sea [Fiction]

This is a fantasy story, and a love story. Like the best fantasies, it carries a universal message. Can we overcome our bias? Can we rise above what we expect of ourselves and become greater? Can we stand the test of love? Your description of this extraordinary hybrid person, Emerald, is wonderful. We sympathize with Minah. How would we react? This hybrid person, after all, is not just a romantic interest, but would be Minah's mate, with all that implies.

Minah forgets, but her mind cannot be wiped entirely. There is a kind of echo that remains. We (those optimists among your readers) hope that maybe Minah and Emeral can 'meet' again, and fall in love again. Perhaps the second time Minah will have the courage to love.

A great story. Thank you for sharing.

Hello, The Inkwell. Thanks so much for reading and your comment.

Indeed these are valid questions that touch on the fabric of every relationship. If we can overcome our bias totally, I know the world would be better for it. This is the difficulty Minah had —understanding and accepting Emerald for who is. If this couple gets a second chance at love, I can only hope they make it work! 😄
