hello @momins.
I saw your reply to our curation comments on your previous story. You said that you had seen our community rules and would abide by them. We note that you have not supported any other writers in the community for either of the two stories that you have submitted in the past 48 hours. If writers want the opportunity to be curated in The Ink Well, we require them to support at least two other stories in the community each time that they submit a story of their own.
Your piece would also benefit from an edit to tighten your writing. Repetition in a story adds word count, and slows down the pace, without adding substance. I would suggest proofreading your work before publishing. Read it out loud to yourself and listen for repetition of ideas. Where you find them, strive to trim them out. This will save you word count for story and character development.
I noted that your last story was written in Bangla and translated into English. Did you write this current story directly in English or is it also a translation of your original native language text? We require all stories which are not written originally in English to include both the original text and the English translation. This is because our detectors work better with the original language versions and many times the translations flag as AI due to the software used to translate the text. This is not to say that this piece is flagging as AI but it is a caution to you that you could find yourself unnecessarily in trouble on the blockchain if you don't publish both original language and the translation in your post.
Finally, we recommend that our writers not drop below a minimum word count of 750 words as stories less than this are usually lacking in development and don't contain all the wonderful facets that make for a great short story.
Please take the time to read our community FAQ, rules and guidance, which you can find in a pinned post in the community.
Can I edit this post to submit the original story written in Bengali?
