RE: "When the trees were tall" by @seeger

Welcome to the Inkwell, @seeger. Your story is evocative. That is one goal every writer tries to achieve: created an effect on the reader. The story has a gentle arc. It is a sort of reminiscence. Each of us can relate to that sense of childhood past. Each of us has emotionally rich experiences from the past.

We suggest that you acquaint yourself with community rules and community Manifesto. We love writers, established and developing writers, but ask that they do follow our community guidelines.

Thank you for sharing this nostalgic bit of fiction with us (all stories must be fiction). It is asked that writers who submit stories to the Inkwell read and comment on the work of at least two other authors in the community.

We hope to read more from you. One gets the sense that writing brings you pleasure. That's the best ingredient for creating good fiction.

Thank you @theinkwell for warm welcome and for your tips. I have overseen your account and thought it is just a community page, but then found the rest of information in your account. That is great to learn that and I certainly read the rules and Manifesto. I love writing and sometimes it just comes itself, I will visit the posts of others too.
