"A detective?" said Karla with a chuckle.

"He nicely complements your anthropological profile."

"I don't know..." she said.

"No need to worry about making a decision now because I've already set us up for a date!"

"You did what?" hissed Karla trying hard not to shout at her notebook.

"You'll never know if he's your Knight in Shining Armor until you meet him. Looking at your calendar, I see that you don't have any meaningful engagements this Saturday, so I thought we could grab coffee with Mark and his diary."

KRUZMAKA AND THE MOVIES

'May I ask a question?' he says politely.

Abby: ''Sure, sure, what's your question?'

Kruzmaka turns to Rudger.

'Your intention was to make a film that is not your intention?'

'Well, ... strange question ... not really, no. ... Ugh ...'

'Then what is your intention for the film? How do you want the viewer to perceive it?'

Natasha's Diary

"I have an important message, but my mom will not allow me as she is being threatened," Kelvin said, looking around in case his mom is approaching.

When the security at the post heard this, he helped Kelvin dial the emergency number of the police, and in no time, the police showed up at their estate.

Kelvin gave the diary to the police, and they glanced through it, kept it, and were asking him some questions when his mom showed up. Natasha was scared to see her son with the police; she ran there and inquired what happened.

A Wish Under the Stars

I wish I could believe him but the sight before me a few minutes ago caught me by the throat. I could get my blood rushing through my veins and a cold sweat forming on my forehead. I could feel my body shiver and my throat dry.

My boyfriend was a werewolf.

Watching him shift form from being a full-grown human to a werewolf, an animal scared the hell out of me. I wish I remained ignorant just like I have been for the past two years that we’ve been together. I wish I never knew. I wish I only saw him as Matt Dew, a college student that I only knew. I wish I hadn't seen that. I wish Matt was not a werewolf!

“Do you like happy endings or sad endings in books and movies?”

I pointed to myself, “You are talking to me?”

“Yes, of course. You are the only one here.” You chuckled. That sound sent my heart racing again.

“Ohh. I umm… I like sad endings.”

“Why?”

“It just kinda portrays life how it truly is. That it is mostly not all about happy endings.”

“Mum, I'm different from the others. Why?”

“You are a love child Nyakei. You defy every law of nature and your existence transcends dimensions.”

Those were always the answers Nyakei got from his mother whenever he tried to know anything more about himself. Alaya was a great mother even though sometimes, Nyakei often wondered if she was sane. Alaya spoke a lot in her sleep, mostly uttering his father's name. If Nyakei was ever sure of anything, it was that Alaya loved his father dearly and she was an excellent writer. He had never met his father. Alaya had told him that he was born in the year 1993. However, his father's headstone read 1990.

Thank you so much, @gracielaacevedo and @theinkwell team. 📕🖋️

You did not come and read another Kruzmaka story :(
I was late in the contest but appreciate your feedback. I rate it the 3d in my personal series of that character, though. Wonder, how you might see it.

I did read your story and was about to comment on it, but then life got in the way, and I had to be offline :( I was planning on giving feedback later when I got back into action though :D

Thank you very much for the selection.😊

Thank you, The Inkwell Community
