You Can't Solve It By Dreaming
I worked as fast as I could, making sure not to make any mistakes. I felt like I was in an action movie; each paragraph I wrote was a triumph, an escape from the clutches of death. However, my concern grew when my partner emerged with a distressed expression from Mr. Arocha's office.
“He asked me for the report,” she murmured anxiously. “Have you finished it yet?”
“Almost,” I answered immediately. “I just have to add one detail before printing it.”

She dreamed of being an astronaut
My older sister was the biggest fan and dreamed of traveling to the stars. She would tell us that she wanted to be an astronaut, and we would follow her in her games where she was, without discussion, the captain of the ship and we were the crew members.
We could spend hours running or climbing on the beds and jumping into dusty red deserts, or enter dark caves under the bunks, where giant spiders lived or where we met the Venusian, green beings with two antennae on their heads.

Dreaming And Believing
That scene got me into my daydreaming mode again as I thought about the news my friend shared with me about our neighbor sending their daughter abroad.
"But Really, God when?" When will I also get to experience going to the airport, boarding a plane, and traveling to another country? I wondered. "Even if it's just for a vacation or tourism, let me also get that experience", I said aloud to no one in particular.

The big blow
“Do you have doubts, Raf?” Tyron fixed his eyes on the old thief.
"No, everything is clear. I'm going home to rest, tomorrow will be a very hectic day." Raf was getting up slowly, hoping to hear something that would give him confidence in the man's words.
"Be optimistic, Raf, tomorrow morning you will be a rich man. Your well-deserved retirement. Haha." Tyron would give Raf's back a few pats and a half-hearted smile.
Raf came out painting a feigned smile, but in his gut, he felt that something was not going to go right.

Diplomatic
“I think they called it plan B, Keisha brought it for Julie the last time she was here.” Jay disclosed to Anna, in a bid to help her unravel the mystery drugs.
“Plan B, huh?” And you say Keisha brought this?
“Yes mom” Jay responded with a nod.
Immediately, Anna reached out to her phone and went on the internet to search for any medication relating to plan B.
What she saw broke her, but she didn't want Jay to be on fully on all what is happening, so she kept her cool.

My sister the prankster
I finally decided to laugh, but not before I used some very colorful insults on my sister Ify.
“I got you!” she screamed, laughing.
“And today is not even April fool's day. You're a mad person” I replied smiling.
“I knew you wouldn't recognize my changed voice. I should be an actress” she replied still laughing.
“Yes you should, and you should also consider yourself lucky that I'm in aunt's house and you're not. I would've bitten you” I replied shaking my head.
“This is my new phone number by the way” she replied.
