They Walk at Night

Currently, the entire country is being attacked by creatures that have risen from the dead from the deepest abyss. They are ancient creatures that come from behind caves scattered throughout the world. They are believed to have taken shelter and settled there since ancient times. They have risen since the eclipse occurred several years ago. They are a group of creatures that have no souls other than only consisting of cruel creatures who like to eat anything that lives.

The competitions were short and long run, hurdles, long and high jump with pole vault, and shot put and javelin. I was happy to be there watching my daughter do her best in the short and hurdle race and in the shot put and javelin, where the teacher had entered her.

At the end of the competition, medals were awarded by team and discipline. All the athletes received their participation medals, and my daughter also won the bronze medal in the shot put in her category.

Guy, is something wrong with your mouth? Talk to me na." He pulled me back. "Bro, what's going on?"
"Baba, you dey disturb me. (You're disturbing me) I've told you, I'm fine."
"I'm disturbing you? Alright, go on. I'm no longer coming to your house."
I looked at him and continued walking without looking back.

Ahmad’s Yarn

Ahmad quickly grabbed the yarn and jumped back out. “Maybe this will help,” he said to the anxious creatures as he quickly spread out the yarn. The creatures exchanged glances and instantly, they began linking up on the rails of the yarn. As soon as they all assembled, the yarn began to give off a silver glow beneath their feet. Just like that. The strings of the yarn transformed into metal and elevated vertically, towering to the sky.

AVA IN UNWONDERLAND

My choice of words?, thought Maya, and with a sinking feeling she remembered how out of anger she'd wished her sister all the cold in the world. Everything about this whole scenario felt unreal and even with the dread running through her veins, she knew Maya would be lost unless she went wherever the shimmering pathway lead. Ava stepped in.

A Flicker of Happiness

Fraud?” Christian was shocked. His Blue. His innocent Blue who didn't look like she could commit a single crime.

“Yes, she's not the leader of their crew. But she's the brains. She's the one who helped with the paperwork and came up with some of their schemes. They were caught while they were carrying out one of their big fraud schemes on WebX.” Mr Darren added.

The Portal

"Heliot. Where are we? I was at the lake, and now I’m here… Am I dead?"
"You’re on my planet. The eclipses on your Earth open portals… You crossed through one."
"You were that forming light, weren’t you? You pulled me in?"
"No… The light was the portal itself. But somehow, you managed to see me through it. And no, I didn’t pull you in, but you were drawn into it."
