She guessed she could understand that but the mother in her had a mad desire to make sure that he really was okay. Who knew what was happening in this dark place? He certainly wouldn’t tell her even if things were going badly. Nightmares visited her in which he called out her name, beaten and bloody, alone and hurting. But no time for that now. It was over. I returned to the old neighborhood and found everyone awaiting me. Cheering "You are the hero, you are the hope" loudly as my old crush waved at me along with all the other girls from the balcony. "You are the hero, you are the hope" they cheered as they carried me on their shoulders parading in front of the filming cameras as I waved my hand which had a few missing fingers. -@amirtheawesome1

We both stared at the clouds of fog forming peaks of blankets over the thatch of our huts. It was only dawn and the entire village was still asleep. “I need to put a meaning to my dreams. It is almost like they hunt me now more than ever. Surely there must be something i’d find in there”. I spoke to Nilan without shifting my gaze from the village below. “Look! This can't be all there is to living. We are enclosed by these mountains so secluded from whatever is out there. Don't you want to know what lies beyond our village Utuyum and what's in that gulum? For a very short time, the quiet of the neighborhood was disturbed by the heavy staccato of gunshots. So odd was it that for a moment passersby had no idea it was weapons that were firing. And then pandemonium struck as people began to run about. And the gun battle was going on in what everyone had thought to be an abandoned warehouse. After the hardships in life, I managed to survive in a cruel society where being poor is not acceptable. I finished studying college and I started working and have a decent job. A lot of people are now praising me even though I didn't do much. It's so funny to think that it's just because of how I look they'll already conclude that I'll do something good and they'll think they can benefit from it. -@mrnightmare.net

Louis freaked out, not because of the walls or that even more candy spilled out of the animated Jack-O-Lantern, but because the other people dived towards the candy crazily, they teared, bit through and swallowed regardless of the wrapping then acted like animals protecting their food viciously growling at others nearby, another girl smiled at him from afar with her teeth shining like jelly beans. -@vincric
