It's a great ironic character study. Some might fault it with lacking a traditional arc. Perhaps they are right, but I had a great time reading this. It kind of woke me from a coffee-craving daze:)
Keep writing. You have at least one appreciative fan out here. We have a discerning readership in Hive. Once they discover you they will no doubt be hooked also.
Thanks much your your kind words. and Yeah, not much of an arc in this one. it's an idea that popped into my head one day and I wrote it out.
I'll keep writing when time permits. right now spending time with my son outdoors takes most of my free time and that is OK. I'll still manage to squeeze a few words in here and there.
