Few minutes after madame Krishna left, I cleaned up the house and hurried to the market.
Hours later I returned to cook the meal, scooping them into sacred plates which were used in serving priests.

Hey, @unyime1. I thoroughly enjoyed your stories, I would like to share 2 notes before I get into them.
A) May I suggest using tools like (") or (-) just to make it clearer when it's a character speaking rather than the narrator.
B) Maybe put the story together in one post, even at the risk it would be longer. I believe it would make it easier to appreciate it. You're more likely to get rewards from a short story than a serialized one.
Now regarding the story. I find each action sequence and its connectivity to the next done very well. You have done an extraordinary job at giving each character life in spite of having many, I could still tell how each character is like. The characters weren't used to just keep the plot going.
Nice work, keep up the good work.
