Some lessons aren't found in books or on the internet, but whispered gently by Nature herself❤️. Inspired by the full moon🌕.

The girl sat there, absently staring at the sky, instinctively listening as the Universe communicated with her.
Tonight the full Moon rose - It was super bright, undeniably beautiful, announcing its presence. It cast shadows across the night and as she watched, she marveled at how the Moon outshone the sky.
Tonight was the Moon's night. It sat on the throne ruling the heavens. The stars shimmered happily around it, amplifying its glow.
As she observed, she noticed the Moon's gentle interaction with the clouds. The cumulus drifted by like old friends, hugging the moon. In return, it smiled down at them, unbothered. Then she saw them, the nimbus. She wondered - would they block the Moon's glow, call a halt to its reign?
Seconds stretched into minutes. Just as she thought the nimbus would win, the moon emerged again - bold and bright as if to say, “you Can't dim my light.”
And it dawned on her: in this life, everyone has a time to shine. Even when life's circumstances try to cloud your light, if it is your moment, nothing can truly stop it.
Sitting there soaking in the Moon's lesson, she made a silent vow; to be resilient like the moon. To never again let negativity overcrowd her light.
As the moon shone in my story, so did your attention on my post. Thanks for the light💞.

Welcome to The Ink Well!
Now that you're here, please have a look around and get to know our community. Here are a few tips for getting acquainted:
Be sure to read The Ink Well community rules at the top of the community home page, and check out our FAQ about The Ink Well.
We accept two kinds of short stories in The Ink Well: fictional stories and creative nonfiction stories. We are all about quality, and we expect writers to carefully review their work before posting. Not doing so will result in low curation rewards or posts being ignored. You can see our article on checking your posts for grammar here.
Stories under 750 words tend to be underdeveloped. We recommend that submissions be between 750-1500 words to ensure that enough elements of good fiction are included in your stories. You can find some great articles on story writing in our catalog of storytelling tips.
You can find information about what we are looking for in creative nonfiction stories in this post.
All images should be appropriately sourced using URL links to the dedicated photo page on the royalty-website where it is found (the page that includes the photographer's name/accreditation). Images shot and/or owned by the writer also require attribution. In this case it is sufficient to state that the images are your own or that you have permission to use them. eg: your image should be sourced like this: Image by Ganathy Kumar on Unsplash
And please be sure to engage in the community by reading and commenting on the work of other community members. We ask everyone who posts in The Ink Well to read and comment on at least two other stories for each one published.
Again, welcome!
