First of all, when I woke up early in the morning, I first offered Fajr prayer and then I started preparing to go to my friend because my friend's father had passed away and I had to go to him to offer my condolences because I had to go to him to offer my condolences. And I went to my friend early in the morning. When I reached my friend's house, I saw that many people had gathered there and were reciting Fateha. So I also recited Fateha for my friend's father and prayed for his reward in this situation. Then I told my friend to give me permission because I also had to reach my duty. Since I went to my friend's house early in the morning and then from there I went straight to my duty. When I reached school, my period had started and I taught the children in class and took their test. Then I quickly left school. It turned out that I had to go to my cousin's wedding. My cousin's wedding ceremony is in one area, Moch, and then my other cousin's wedding ceremony is in Sargodha. I had to go to Sargodha and Moch, so first of all I attended my cousin's wedding in the nearby area, Moch, and there I met my dear and close relatives. Meanwhile, when it was noon, I left for Sargodha with my family.
When I reached the wedding house, food was being prepared for the guests. I saw that various dishes were being prepared there. One chef was frying chicken and another chef was making kheer. Some people were making curry from the meat of the deceased. Similarly, halwa was being prepared in a very large pan. I saw that the pan in which halwa was being prepared was a very large pan. I took pictures of this pan so that I can share it with you people. It is a custom in our area that people invite many relatives and friends to weddings and also prepare food for them. It is a village custom that people from the village invite chefs to their own houses and have them prepare food. Similarly, people from the city go to hotels and feed the guests. But village life is a beautiful life and the village environment is also very beautiful. So these pictures that I am showing you people are of my village Moj. In my village Moch, people invite relatives and friends to weddings. Neighbors and local people who are acquaintances are definitely invited because a wedding is a ritual, a happy occasion in which everyone is included.
The most popular dishes that people cook in my village on the occasion of weddings include Halwa, Pilaf, Biryani, Kheer, Zard Palu, which is also called Sweet Rice, and Wheat Bread, Salad, and Barley made from Goat Meat, which is very delicious. These dishes are prepared on the occasion of weddings in our area, but the most famous sweet dish is Halwa. People eat Halwa with great enthusiasm, and if Halwa is not cooked on the occasion of happiness, the guests say that the food is not tasty at all. Therefore, Halwa is the most important and most beloved and sweet dish that all the guests like very much. There are many ways to make Halwa, but the most famous Halwa is Jaggery Halwa because people eat Halwa made with Jaggery with great enthusiasm because Jaggery is not harmful, while Halwa made with sugar is not liked by most people, but both Halwa are very delicious and have a very high taste. So this one that you see in a very big bowl. There is a fire burning under it. This pan is used to make halwa. Similarly, you are seeing that a very large tent has been set up. This is the tent under which food is served to the guests and arrangements are also made for the guests to sit.
The atmosphere of the village is very open and there is plenty of space to sit. People set up big tents on the occasion of a wedding and arrange for the guests to sit under the tents. Similarly, tables are set up under the tents to feed the people so that the guests can eat comfortably. You can see that this white tent that you see has a seating capacity for about a thousand guests. So I thought I would share these few pictures with you so that I can show you the lovely atmosphere that is in my area on the occasion of a wedding. Since the preparations for the wedding are just starting, I have made these pictures from the beginning. Next day, when the wedding ceremony will be held on my own, I will show you that too. Today is the first day of the wedding and on the first day, special guests are invited, so the food arrangements made today are for about 200 people. Out of these 200 people, 200 will be female and 200 will be male. Similarly, food arrangements have been made for a total of 400 people. So on the next day, when the procession will come here from Sargodha, food arrangements will also be made for about 1,000 people. In this way, this wedding ceremony will continue for three days and friends and relatives will come from far away to participate in the wedding rituals.
