Assalam Alaikum Warahmatullah Wa Barakatah, I welcome you all to my hive blog with a new article of mine. My post is about very delicious street food. This street food is called Tangri. This is Tangri. And in our area it is eaten very fondly. That it is a traditional street food of our village and the tastiest street food of our district will not be wrong because its taste and pleasure in eating is known only by those who have eaten this food.

Let me tell you why this food is loved, there are many reasons for it, the first reason is that it does not spoil quickly and can be preserved for a long time. I ate it a lot in my childhood because the taste of tangri is very similar to jaggery but it is not jaggery but jaggery is the main ingredient in it. It is produced in Peshawar, the largest city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and shopkeepers from Peshawar buy it and sell it in my district, Mianwali. There are many traditions about Tangri which I will mention in this post. You will like every tradition, I made some pictures while buying Tangri, so I want to share some pictures with you.

First of all let me tell you why tangari is preferred in winters the main reason is that sugarcane harvest starts in winter season and sugarcane is available in abundance. And when sugarcane is abundant, jaggery is prepared from sugarcane and thus fresh jaggery is sold in winter and the jaggery that is prepared in winter is of different types, so one of them is prepared like this. which is used to make special Tangri and Tangri which is pure and standard Tangri is prepared from fresh jaggery. Some artisans or chefs also prepare Tangri from sugarcane juice but The Tangri prepared from the juice cannot be preserved for a long time, but the Tangri prepared from jaggery can be preserved and eaten for a long time, so the first reason is that in winter Sugarcane is harvested and jaggery is available in abundance, so tangri is also prepared in winter. Besides, tangri is made in different varieties. Flavors are also prepared, there is a chocolatey test tangari and some tangaris include different fruit flavors but my favorite tangari has been the jaggery tangari because this tangari is full of flavor and pleasure to eat. Tangri is very popular and people of all ages eat Tangri very fondly, so my children like Tangri very much and my mother eats Tangri very fondly. This Tangri I am showing you in the pictures. My favorite is tangris and now I have bought tangris for 300 rupees per kg so I hope you will like the tangris you see in the pictures very much and it is also the most delicious and flavorful.

If we talk about the taste of Tangri, the taste of Tangri is either chocolatey or molasses, and sometimes different types of dry fruits are used in Tangri, so it is up to the buyer to choose which one. Want to buy Flavored Tangri The most famous Tangri is the Plain Tangri. Plain Tangri does not contain any dry fruits or any other additives. Plain Tangri has a completely different taste. And jaggery taste is prominent in it. Tangri is crunchy, it has crunch. If tangri does not have crunch, too much softness, then tangri is not edible. And the most preferred tangi is tangi crunchy tangi. Tangri which has a crunch that gives a crunch type taste because when eaten crunchy tangri also has a different taste so it is up to the buyer's choice which tangri he likes to eat if up dry. If you want to eat fruit tangeri, it contains almond, pistachio, walnut, dry fruit flavors and also contains dry fruit. Similarly, if you eat chocolate flavored tangerines, you will not get that crunch, but the taste of chocolate. And children like chocolate Tangri very much but let me also tell you here that plain Tangri is the most popular and most sold. In food you will get plain tangri but if you want to eat dry fruit chocolate tangri or other fruit flavored tangri then you have to either go to a dry fruit shop or special order it to buy that tangri. It has to be given then it will be prepared and served to you but simple Tangri will find you the most prominent street food in the streets of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab of Pakistan.

Now the question must be in your mind that in which city Tangri was first made and how did it become so famous? According to traditions, Tangri was first made by people in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region before the creation of Pakistan. and this food was specially prepared and given to the guests as a gift, because in the old days if a guest went to someone's house, when the guest returned to his home, the people of Peshawar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa used to treat their guests. would have made Tangri so that he would take the branch of this area and go to his own area that everyone likes because Tangri cannot be made by everyone and it is very difficult to make it but I also say that the difficulty is when the thing is You don't know because Tangri is now being made and sold in every region, so it can be said now that people who make Tangri are famous in every region, but in the olden days it was said that It is also a well-known tradition that when people in Peshawar went to someone's house as a guest, the host used to prepare Tangri as a gift on their return. When people went on a long journey, they used to make Tangri and keep it with them so that they could eat it on the way and fulfill their needs because Tangri is preserved for a long time and does not spoil. People used to travel on foot and there were no vehicles, so people used to travel for many days, so Tangri was considered a good food that it would be safe during the journey and it would not spoil and the traveler would have it for three to four days. You can eat it in this way, so the people who used to travel, wherever they passed through, the people of that area, when they asked about this food, they said that it was leg and thus this food became famous and now If we break down the sales in each region, these three traditions are very popular that we heard from our forefathers, what is the reason for the popularity of Tangri and its existence or how it came into existence in the first place. These traditions that I have narrated to you must have been interesting and informative

The main reason why tangri is most preferred in winters is that since tangri is made from jaggery and the effect of jaggery is warming and due to this warming effect tangri is very popular in winters. Tangri is more liked than when people eat it in winters, they feel less cold, so we can say that Tangri is eaten in winters because its effect is warm and hot things are the best in winters. The best way to eat Tangri is to eat Tangri with green tea. But one thing should be kept in mind that the use of sugar in green tea should be minimal because Tangri itself is sweet in taste and if some people who are suffering from diabetes will drink green tea with Tangri and more sweet. Their health may be bad, so you can eat Tangri without tea, as I told you that most people like to eat Tangri with dry fruits and it is a dish that From five to 10 boxes are made inside and that plate which is a plate with boxes, different types of dry fruits are put in each box and that plate is filled with dry and tangari in the middle of these fruits. It is the most beautiful way to serve Tangri to the guests and in our region and mostly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan Tangri is served to the guests in the same way Tangri is one of my region. It is famous street food and the purpose of my post is also that I have shared the information of different and interesting and delicious street food of my area.
