Scrapping for this week. Around 600 pounds for $68.

This week, we took a truck load of scrap to the metal yard. Copper is doing pretty good at $2.68 a pound, but we didn't have very much copper. We mostly had scrap steel which is $0.06 per pound.

CANS CAN DO

Cans did pretty good for us. We ended up with 29 pounds at $0.43 per pound. This is in US Dollars. I think we will try to focus on copper, brass and aluminum next week, but it's hard to predict what we will find.
Here's this week's results

I am disappointed in what lead batteries are bringing. at $0.17 a pound, we should probably just store those until prices go back up.
Anybody else scrapping? Just an fyi, the working saw that we found was probably the highlight of the week at $20. https://d.buzz/@fredgsanford/2octnfslaub9vzrzrni4ja
We did end up with a few other items that we are holding for resale. I will add those, if someone buys them.
So total so far $68.09 scrap, $20 saw = $88.09.
