Very interesting, thank you! I'm fascinating from Hinduism culture, and I have been many times in India, but I have many difficults to understand Hinduism . For example, what's the meaning of the red (or black, or maybe other colors) spot on the face of children and women? Thank you. The red dot is kumkum and the black one is a paste made from ash, also kajal which is like an eye ointment too.

Thank you for the reply. What is the meaning? Someone has told me black one is to 'hidden' the beauty,,,

Black dots are usually applied to ward off the 'evil eye', especially for babies.
